Doctors dicovered and removed a 7lb hairball from this youngsters stomach after she had stopped consuming food
She been eating her own hair to deal with anxiety and bullying she was facing at school, a condition known as ‘Rapunzel Syndrome’
The parents noticed her hair getting shorter and that she was not eating, but put it down to a disorder
Thankfully she recovered but still tends to suck on her hair strands
It just goes to show the long term affects of bullying

One of my daughters use to eat and chew her hair , she did for a while, we had it cut short and she stopped thankfully
martinlufc5637 Thats good to hear M , i suppose stress could have been an issue also, i know someone did this because of that reason
Gosh.That's scary.Some deep rooted psychological problems there.Hope she gets the support she needs.
