Very simple and plain but last thing I knitted for great grandson. Did one with matching hat and a huge patchwork blanket for him during winter but summer is now gardening, house maintenance and writing.

EmmaWright762 thank you but it truly is a very simple pattern. Plain garter stitch which beginners can do if they can just learn basic knitting but it seems to be a dying pastime.

PS It's great to stop smoking or nibbling as hands are busy!

EmmaWright762 I am guessing that is humble pie not cake lol. I know it's off subject but if anyone is interested this is the origin of eating humble pie: In medieval times the noble men would hunt and their women were meant to give charity to the poor. At Christmas all the leftovers from the deer like the ears, nose etc (which were known as the 'umbles' were baked in pies and distributed to the peasants etc. This became eventually known as 'eating humble pie'.

possy That's a work of genius but sadly it would only exist like that for seconds if I was in the room. Saying that while I've heard of paw patrol I've never seen it. Did the dog have a cake shaped head like that in reality? I feel you may have taken an artistic license with regards the shape of the head. You didn't use a white sponge layer with pink sponge inside and raspberry jam either in order to represent the skull and brain of the dog for something more macabre either.

BonzoBanana it’s just a round cake, a carved cake is ALOT more work. No I used chocolate as that’s what the boy requested I’m afraid.

I'm in the middle of sewing a top. I'm doing it badly but I'm impressed as I've never done this before. I'm not looking for perfection but wearable
