Tesco Clubcard is Changing Their Scheme

Money Saving

Hello,

As one of our loyal Clubcard members, we wanted to let you know that we are making a change to how you use your Tesco Clubcard vouchers with our Tesco Clubcard Reward Partners. And to reassure you that you’ll still be able to use your Tesco Clubcard to unlock great value.

We’re doing this to make sure we can continue to provide you with a wide range of exciting rewards, whilst keeping our product prices low.

Millions of people tap their Tesco Clubcard every time they shop, benefiting from access to over 8,000 weekly deals on Clubcard Prices, which we’ve now rolled out across our stores – so from food to clothing, Tesco Mobile to Tesco Bank, you can now find even more great deals. And with potential savings of up to £351* a year, more people than ever before are making the most of the value that Tesco Clubcard offers.

Here's how our Clubcard Reward Partner scheme is changing

From 14 June**, when you exchange your Clubcard vouchers for a Reward Partner code, they’ll be worth up to 2x as much, not up to 3x the value, as they are now.

Tesco Clubcard continues to have the biggest and most generous Reward Partner scheme with access to over 100 Reward Partners at 2x your Clubcard voucher value. So you can still make great savings on everything from family fun, dining out, cinema trips and more.

To give you extra time to decide when to use your Tesco Clubcard vouchers with Reward Partners, we’re extending the validity period on Tesco Clubcard Reward Partner codes ordered from 17 March until 13 June so that they’re valid for 12 months†, rather than the usual 6 months. So don’t worry, there’s plenty of time to use them at their current value before we make the change.

If you have any questions about this or anything else please visit our FAQ Page.

Everywhere is reducing their rewards. Boots is now 3 points instead of 4, Lidl gives 10% off instead of £10 off and you have to spend more than before. I'm still really glad of the reward schemes as they help me save money, just means we are getting less for our money.

I'm done with Tesco. As soon as my Delivery Saver runs out, I won't be shopping with them

This was really disappointing news. I’ve stuck with Tesco for a long time as their rewards were so good but like you once my Delivery Saver runs out I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

The clubcard deal is a wrought, very unfair to people who aren't organised enough to get it sorted. Sometimes triple the price! For shame, Tesco

The Tesco scheme has been quite poor for a while now, they cut back on rewards partners a few years back, stopped offering any extra points or double point promotions of fuel and prices in their stores are now higher than other supermarkets . the only use of Clubcard is to take part in the farce that is Clubcard prices in their stores. To be honest I wish they would all stop these silly loyalty cards as none really offer much value anymore.

Is this new ? Or what was announced a few weeks back ? Haven't a clue myself as I don't use clubcard any longer . Maybe for Clubcard members the OP could confirm if this is new or just what has been widely advertised over the last few weeks ?

Never liked Tesco's Clubcard. Kind of a con.

Nectar for Sainsbury's and Asda's reward program are better, imo.

I find Asda was good to begin with now it's not so good use to be something like buy 12-15 items fruit veg now it's spend £12+ just to get £1 back.

Everywhere that has loyalty card is cutting their points now and it's shame.

It's kinda put me off shopping at these stores as not being funny Tesco make enough profits etc yet they cut the rewards for loyalty.

Its still better than nothing though. I can understand why they are cutting back on the rewards, but it is a shame. I still find them better than Nectar Points personally. As for the Clubcard prices they do make a difference so I for one welcome them. I was also lucky in that I took advantage of their Delivery Saver offer tripple points scheme - so ending up paying just £5 for a whole years delivery - 69 shops last year - probably the same again this year. Thats a big saving

didbygraham Chase gives 1% cashback and 5% Round-up on most eligible purchases so that's a very good reward debit card to go for, but the cashback incentive lasts one year. However, they're working on a different incentive to keep customers around rather than leave.

I read they're making cashback for the debit card balance which is pretty good.

Offers are also disappearing from Nectar. Used to see many items months ago, but now it is only 4 or 5.
