Warning Over Health Risk with Tesco Cereals

Just after i posted about the rotten meat scandal we now have another health risk with a cereal recall
Tescos are warning customers about a cross contamination between its' cereals
The product is Tesco Free From Bran Flakes
They are saying some Chocolate Pillows cereal may be in boxes of the Bran Flakes , and the chocolate pillows contain nuts
So anyone with a nut allergy could have a severe reaction after eating the bran flakes

I do not have a nut allergy but this Tesco notice I have never heard of. How did Tesco go about informing nut allergy suffers?
I have bran flakes but none of my boxes have contained anything else, thank goodness.
Well Tesco are doing all they can. I wonder if they claim back their costs from the factory that made the mistake? Seems unfair a supplier can make this mistake and not be wholly responsible for all costs of the recall.
