Thank you for telling me how to change the contrast on my laptop and PC. I now have black background and white font, thank goodness! My eyes will really appreciate this long term as I get migraines often! Thank you.
Its been a question I've had for years why can't the contast be changed on these devices and it turns out it can - I just never got the memo! I've getting used to it as it looks so different to what I'm used to. Been using a computer nearly every day now for over 20 years and I've never seen it like this before.
ShellyAnn About 18 years ago (I was new to computers) I did it by accident - then couldn't work out how to get it back to normal again. I did however know how to take my computer back to factory settings - that's a bit like using a sledge hammer to crack a nut.
davidstockport LOL! I actually have 5 different contast styles I can use so I'm playing around with them all to see what I like best in terms of colours on the back background.
On a PC monitor, I prefer it raw; natural though on the phone I tend to have the brightness turned to the minimum.
Found this app today and it's fantastic:
Free right now on Android.
Blue Light filter - now that's interesting! I don't get on with blue light. Well it is great that these kind of apps/filters/add ons are starting to turn up. I don't have a smartphone but I might have a dig around on firefox and see what they have I can use. Lots of people including myself are very sensitive to light and different types of light.
I use Flux on computer which is a blue light filter, and always the minimum brightness. Apple iPhones have a built-in blue light filter in the evenings too which helps.
