Theme Parks & Attractions

Money Saving

I'm a thrill seeker. Is anybody else? If I find deals online, I will share and kindly ask others to do the same

Buy a Merlin Annual pass it’s a great way to save money on over 25 attractions with unlimited access over 200 days in a year & from as little as £99.

I think the saying 'older & wiser' is appropriate here. The more accidents you see over the years, the more compensation claims which took far too long to compensate parents and others alike. The more evidence which comes to light over errors made albeit too late. Nope I think my foolhardy Theme Park days are well and truly behind me.

EmmaWright762 that's why I find it so thrilling, not knowing the what-ifs such as crashes/derails etc. I love it, but, it's not for everyone I suppose and there's nothing wrong with that

EmmaWright762 I am totally with you. The last theme park I went to was in Australia. Everyone went off to go on the rides. I found the artificial beach, a large swim ring and bobbed around in the water.

LL81 hi, are you saying you don't know how to post deals, comps etc on here? If so please say and I (and I am sure many others) can guide you step by step. I always say no matter how easy something is everyone has to be shown initially. I am a 70 year old technophobe so if I can do it I am absolutely sure you can too.😊

Best deals currently for theme parks is the sun codes, can get free/cheap tickets for thorpe park currently. You can sign up for the sun subscription for £7 a month then just cancel after 14 days so it doesn’t continue.

I’ve got my tickets booked ready to ride that new roller coaster (if it opens again in time!)

The only theme parks I'm likely to visit would be Peppa Pig world and Disneyland Paris for our 5 year old son. I am not a thrill seeker at all.

MrsCraig, there's nothing wrong with that whatsoever. Everybody is different, but the main thing is the children experiencing wonderful places & attractions to enjoy themselves

VikingBladesman I went to Alton Towers when I was younger but it wasn't really for me. I would definitely be going for my son to have a brilliant time.

Always loved Theme parks but as I've got older can't handle the bigger, white knuckle rides anymore . The best had to be Universal studios in Florida for me , thou the Disney parks were great also, In this Country Alton Towers is best without question. Rarely go a now thou as the kids are grown up thou.

I'm glad mine are of the age to want to go to the theme parks. Under 10s lol. I'm probably more if a child than they are when I'm there haha

stuartsmith544, I couldn't agree anymore. The thrills you gets just a whole different feeling altogether. I become a kid again, and that is a feeling that simply can't be described or why haha 🤣

Revolution was the odd one out as it goes backwards & that's not my favourite thing to do lol.

Ps. Got a deal to share now regarding Blackpool Pleasure Beach ✌🏻

It's my all time favourite picture of our days out .

It's at Thorpe Park, of my son coming down the slide and his face is why I loved every second of having the passes.

That's on my bucket list for this year as I've never been lol. Along with Alton Towers again. Never been to Chessington World Of Adventures either or Lego Land so the Merlin Annual Pass will most definitely come in handy lol.. I can't wait to go to Flamingo Land again next week. I haven't been there since i was a teenager 🙈
