Should MPs Show More Decorum in the House of Commons?
Ask a Question
I was listing to the budget on the radio and was appalled by the cheering and heckling In the House of Commons. Surely they should show some respect to their colleagues and voice their opinions when they can speak.
Their behaviour doesn’t set a good example to our children.
What do you think?
I think our MPs should be more in tune with joe public. Don't mean no morals or ill mannered, just down to earth and a little more empathetic to our needs. Not jumped up, or looking down their noses.
They are all for themselves anyways. The only time you see an MP Is when they come around pleading to vote for them. Other than that they are Invisible. They say they are going to do this and that and they do the opposite. They are all corrupt.
They are only human. People make mistakes. But there's a mistake and then behaving like the tories did during rona. Do I trust them? No, no I don't. Do I thing they start out as wanting to be better then those in power? Some I do think start out wanting to be better but end up corrupt. Some have no morals to begin with. Some go into it because of they are part of the old boys group.
Worse than school children and only care about losing their seats. I think they are all the same no matter which party. I still have my views on who I vote for though. Mmm who is going to cause the least damage? (In my opinion).
I wouldn't say refined, but should be more mature. They are like schoolkids in the playground and will never earn the respect of the public continuing to act this way.

They should yes, but they are mostly a bunch of childish twits, which is probably the nicest thing I could say about most of them.
Yes, they should. Disgusting behaviour by too many of these people. Poor representatives of this country.
The speaker in the house of commons must feel explosive and suffer from migraines, every time their are Q&As or debates/ motions. On watching the odd time, they get on like playground kids, don't listen to the speaker. They pat each other, laugh and cheer at each other throwing insults. Sir or Madam speaker(, as they are referred to, in an adult manner) should throw away the gavel/ hammer. Replace it with a whistle, sinbin and blue/ red cards. It is coming to this almost.
Order, order lol they behave like children, it's fun to watch sometimes though, these clowns can't run a raffle never mind a country
