There's only me and MrsChimp, so it doesn't matter. We'll get up sometime in the morning for smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels and bucks fizz.

TheChimp I am jealous. Years ago, I tried precooked smoked salmon on brown bread and orange juice. It was awful beyond words and don't get me started on having to use loads of Fairy and fresh lemon juice to get the plates, culinary clean.

Whatever time our son wakes up. If I'm awake before him I will just laze about in bed till he is awake.

We go off visiting on Xmas morning so the earlier the better, always the option to have a couple of hours sleep in the afternoon if need be.

Now our son is older we will have a chilled morning - so getting up around 9am usually. More determined by what time the dog gets up now!

I'm up at 5am when I'm working, but it's me turn off this year so I will wake up whenever the cat jumps on me head for breakfast

The children are all adults now so there was no rush to get up which was very nice as we had only flown in from Barbados the day before. Just seen the news this morning and people on our cruise ship where diverted to Bermuda and missed Christmas!
