Toddler Beds or Single Bed
Ask a Question
I'm looking into getting a bed for my 3 year old and im not sure if you get a toddler bed or just go with the single one
I had a cot which turned into a toddler bed. Then just bought a single bed. I think a 3 year old would manage a single bed as long as it’s not too high.
We have a toddler bed. Our son is almost 6 and very tall for his age. He still has plenty of room. Once he has outgrown it he will go into a single bed. We kept one of the single beds from our old house so he will go into that. If you do get a single bed get a low one and get a bed guard.
I am sure I saw a tv ad quite recently for a bed that grows with the child. It sounds weird but I think it was sort of telescopic. Have a Google.
It depends a lot on the child's size and needs. My daughter had a fun princess toddler bed but soon gave it away to a cousin for her child and replaced it with a single. Cot sides can be useful if your child is concerned about falling out.
