Is Allowing Your Toddler to Swear in the Bathroom an Effective Solution?

So most parents come up against this problem while their kids are growing up, swearing
Besides being an embarrassement it can also get the child and parents in trouble if say it happens in school or other public places
So this mum decided to try to solve the problem by letting her toddler daughter swear, but only in the bathroom
The video is so cute, and the girl seems a bit shy struggling to think of some bad words to say, but manages three
She does manage two, but not with much conviction
I suppose it puts a new slant to singing in the shower , cussing in the cubicle
Do you think this is a good way to control their bad language as a parent ?

The mother only makes the video to get "clicks". I will not be wasting my time viewing it on TikTok (I am not a member - phew!)
jam45 Yes you can see she only does it for this J , but the little girl thinks it is some kind of game
I think some mothers might think it a good idea
I bet there are some little terrors the girls age that cuss and swear all the time, especially if the parents do , and they copy
This way it gives the child a chance to reflect and actually restrict or even prevent it getting any worse by giving them a designated spot to do it , a bit like the naughty step , but instead of being a punishment it is an option

RegularComper91 I don't regard myself as thick but I have become a regular tiktokker. However my posts are, I hope, educational as I post history/English bites and try to educate. I cannot stand some of the pathetic women sobbing and asking if they are beautiful, pouting, posturing and showing off. Skits that are filmed over and over taking us for mugs believing they are real. I have heard/seen disgusting things and yet I had a comment deleted for asking why Tik tok allowed it!
Children swear when parents and close family members do. Live by example I'd say.Many parents need locking up with their kids lol.

Well I swear all the time 
the more I try not to the more it just comes out but I'm lucky my kids haven't copied anything from what I've said
Leannexxx When my hubbie was alive he never ever swore.We nick named him 'Good Heavens' I used to swear a little when we met but in good company it became less and less.Now I seldom if ever do.I have a friend who swears like a trooper so I'm not judgemental .I just think it's nice to express things differently and I enjoy playing with words as well.
MelissaLee1 believe it or not I didn't swear at all till I was 23 till something happened and since then it's like verbal diarrhoea
Leannexxx I gave up at 12 lol.Word is I asked my dad if I could say F### and he said "No you cannot". "I only wanted to say it once" I replied."You already have and that's the end of it" he said.Wouldn't mind but when he saw red the air invariably turned blue lol.
Hmm the link says it’s on TikTok, so it’s almost certainly been done for clicks and probably isn’t true. Even if it was true it just shows the mentality of TikTok users to make up such a stupid rule. It also probably means that the parent(s) swear persistently in front of their child. The kid will probably take a knife to school when they start.
