Absolutely it would have to go especially with how things are these days. I would be selfish to start and get my hips and knees done privately so I wouldn't be in so much pain

They must obviously be quite well off not to have to sell but yes I would sell to help my family out.

I definitely would. Can't see myself keeping something that's worth a tidy sum 😃

I would sell it and pay off my childrens’ mortgages and treat the whole family. Unfortunately I have nothing of great value.

I would sell it. It would make life easier. I could pay off the mortgage and have money in the bank for when it was needed. Unfortunately I don't have anything of value!

That would depend on the item. If I hated it, yes

I think most people who are not minted would sell. I can manage on what I get but what good would a £1million item do just sitting around. I would help lots of people and have a few treats myself.

I'd sell if for no other reason than I wouldn't want the insurance bill to keep it!

I would sell it. We need a bigger house with an extra room or two. My mum is also struggling so could give her some. But unfortunately haven't got anything in this house that would cost anywhere near that much.

I would be frightened to have something in my house that was so high value especially if it had been on TV

I would say yes unless it had a real strong sentimental value. But once I heard the price sentimental goes out the window. Sell, sell, sell.

Definitely I would sell, not only would it change my life. I wouldn't be able to afford the insurance and would be terrified of breaking/it being stolen etc. You can take a photo.

I remember watching a women who had a hideous teapot, which was worth a fortune. She obviously sold it and from the proceeds she bought a house, she said" I love in a teapot" it made me smile.

If I had something worth a million pounds, I would sell to make my family more secure. It would help in our old age and help my grown up children and their families.
