How Do You Treat Yourself?
Ask a Question
What do you guys buy as a treat for yourself? Like a reward. Lol I usually buy books for my collection!
I donโt buy handbags or clothes havenโt for years
Just thought this is an interesting chat topic!
martinlufc5637 ,You sound like my Sheffield Wednesday/ Portadown Football Club loving other half,he has lots then buys more!!
martinlufc5637 haha how many pairs of trainers do you have? I have one thatโs so worn out haha but I do have other shoes too
kitty88uk I have 20 pairs lol and I've only worn 3 pairs, to be fair I've had some really good deals on them all, and they last my a lifetime, I've stopped buying them....for now
martinlufc5637 wow 20 pairs of trainers is a lot! Thatโs great that you got them when on offer! Lol you need to wear the other ones! Otherwise itโs be a waste of money lol
Treat for myself!!!, l haven't for over 13year, all my money goes on my 13 year old Hungarian Vizsla
I very rarely treat myself. One the very rare occasion when I do it is clothes, but only during the sales. I got ยฃ200 worth of clothes from George for ยฃ35 during the sale. That is me done treating myself for a long time.
janphoenix51 I got lucky when I went on and there was lots of stuff in my size that was going cheap. I got jeans for ยฃ2.75, was so pleased with my bargains
Yes it's interesting, first choices books and dark chocolates..then clothing, stationery and other foods....
Sarahvwomble oh I havenโt had dark chocolates in a while lol prefer milk or white chocolate
I have not bought new clothes in a long time! I wear the same ones a lot haha
Yeah I buy foods too what do you buy to eat?
Nice topic but I canโt remember when last time I treated myself I have loving caring Hubby he buy everything for me never felt I should treat myself have to say thanks to almighty for all blessings
Queenofdeals786 thanks for your nice comment! Aw thatโs nice to hear! Lucky you! Iโve got no one haha
I like to treat others and that helps me feel good. I feel bad for spending money on myself, but love spending on my animals.
Getting a deal or something for FREE actually IS a treat for me!
But I do LOVE my 'BOBS' which I have a pair of trainers and slippers, these are the 2 things that I've really wanted for myself.
DeBunny thatโs so very nice of you! Oh what pets do you have?
Exactly I do agree with you! Getting free items a treat for me! Especially when itโs my birthday which is in September!
Oh wow they are very nice trainers and slippers do they cost a lot?
I got these for free last week! Perfume samples I get now and again the other is a lip treatment and went to town to get M&S sweets lol
Even the dumpling bag got for free from my Mumโs work place we have a few of those handy bags
kitty88uk Awesome! Looks like a good little bunch of freebies
I'm waiting on arrival of a Molton Brown Perfume sample
Thanks, I love them (not sure they are my exact design of my trainers but mine are similar) I think these ones were both around ยฃ50-ยฃ60 a pair, which is a lot more than I'd ever want to pay for most things, but they are comfy, feel secure and don't seem to hurt my feet like some other shoes and they seem to last a lot longer than those I've paid ยฃ6-ยฃ12 for in the past. So they are completely worth it in my opinion.
Pets wise, just a few reptiles, rabbits and arthropods at the moment but I do walk other people's dogs and love treating those too!
I love treating myself make up, active wear, books I do treat others too, so it's a fine balance saving now though, I've done my spending for a few good months x
nina090976 that sounds lovely ! Great choice of items for yourself!! Thatโs nice treating others too Iโm sure they will love what you gift them!
kitty88uk I don't bother with freebies as I rarely receive them. I do love relaxing in front of tv with feet in a bowl of water then using the foot spa treatments I got for Christmas. I rarely buy for myself as I have everything I need. At my age you find your desire for 'stuff' wanes and basically I just buy gifts for others, food and pay bills.
