Do You Use Sunbeds?

Do you use Sunbeds?
Campaigners argue that the government hasn't adequately warned people about the potential skin cancer risk. What's your take on this?
No not now but I was addicted to them I'd go to 3 different shops a day doing 12 minutes on each I found it so hard to catch the sun so when I was tanning I didn't want it to stop it's only the Fact I got pregnant that's why I actually stopped going on them haven't been back on them either
I admit I tried them when I was younger if for no other reason than the 'my friends were all doing it' scenario. However today most of us realise that sunbathing in general is not good for our skin and besides I would rather not have a tan and use the money on the essentials such as food, rent and paying my bills.
Used to go on when I was a lot younger so it doesn't bother me anymore but if you want to go on one go on one
I used them years ago, I've seen the damage they do to the skin on my sister in law who uses them a lot
I used them religiously when I was a teenager, a very moley person and a mole on my back started being itchy and sore. Went to doctors who told me to stay away, never been on them since.
No. I would rather get a natural tan, and even then I later up the sun screen to ensure I’m protected. Going into a uv box is not something I’d choose to do
Never ever felt the need.I'm not a great one for lying on the beach either.I have a constant tan cos i'm out and about in the fresh air for a few hours everyday especially in the good weather on my allotment.
I've always avoided sunbeds and only go out in the sun wearing factor 50. I've always done what I can to reduce wrinkles
Is it the government's fault?, I'm not sure who l should blame other than myself for not educating myself in many fields...When l was seventeen l brought my own top sunbed (no base) it had about 15 tubes, sometimes l would use a tan accelerant lotion and l would use it for half an hour every evening, from the age of thirty l started going to a tanning salon three day a week and using a lay down and a stand up one with really strong tubes, in my early forties my then boyfriend owned a tanning salon and l would use a lay down one four times a week with tingle cream.. from seventeen to forty six l was even going abroad every year for two weeks, sunbathing and using coconut oil instead of factor 50. l have quite a few freckles and moles all over my body and all in the name of vanity as l always thought a tan made me look healthy and gorgeous , by my late forties l have finally stopped using sunbeds and now just put fake tan on my face, arms and legs in the summer months as l can no longer be bothered to sit in the sun for longer than fifteen minutes.
I have never used a sun bed in my life and never wanted to. I prefer getting a natural tan from the sun, although being careful with I’m in it and using the right protection. Helps with my psoriasis.
No, my partners Mum used them and did get skin cancer. I agree the warning is there, people should use common sense.
As a teenager (Yes, I was one once!) I used to have a sunbed once a month along with a sauna & massage, it was very relaxing but never became addicted to it and only did it for 6 months or so.
I've never tried one and wouldn't either. It was bad enough when my mother in law made me get a spray tan for her wedding. Lightest colour they did and I was ridiculously brown within 2 hours! Never used a sunbed as I didn't think they were safe.
Not sure you can blame the Government though.
