Using Vouchers on a Date

Ask a Question

If you went out on a First Date with someone and they paid using a 2 for 1 Voucher, how would you feel?

I'd do it on a second date but not a first one.

It wouldn't bother me at all, in fact I'd encourage it, I'd do it on any date lol

martinlufc5637 Totally agree with you, it wouldn’t bother me and I like to get a good deal myself. I hate seeing people spending over what they need too.

My first date with my fiancé was bowling and I had a voucher for 2 games for the price of 1.

I think trying to be savvy with money is a good trait and I would look for that in any potential partner.

I think when i was younger i wouldn’t want to but now I’d happily do it. It’s common sense to save money and if my date was put off by it then she wouldn’t be the one for me.

Always remember the story about a guy who took a lady on a date to london zoo and asked her if she minded paying for herself. After she agreed he proceeded to pull out a 2 for 1 voucher and got his entry for free 🤣

No problem, it’s a sign of being good financially. Maybe I’d buy the drinks if he buys the meal.

It wouldn't bother me at all. I think it shows being financially responsible and that's what I would want in a partner. My husband and I are very sensible with money. We were students when we meet so I wouldn't have batted an eye if he had used a voucher on our first date.

It's the company that matters, not how much the bill costs. Nothing wrong with two for one meals. Reflecting on the state of our economy, it's a brilliant idea.

Id be so impressed with their judgement in asking me for a date that I would forgive them anything else!

I'd say fair play, must be a savvy person to have got a deal using a voucher, means i'd get a pudding too.

Forty years ago l would of felt embarrassed if my date was to produce a voucher for a meal on our first date, but today it would not bother me at all...

I'd not mind if, it's about saving money so why not.

If a woman just wants a man for financial reasons, nope, it's better for him that she just leaves.

Wouldn't bother me at all. Yeah it can be seen as cheap but at least it shows that the person actually trys to male their cash work

I wouldn't have a problem with it, especially as lots of people go Dutch now, all for saving £

Better use the voucher on some other occasion and be a man, instead. OR pre order using voucher, but dont do it infront of your date.
