Villagers 'Terrorised' by Wolves in Sheeps' Clothing AKA Sheep Behaving Badly

In the News

This brings a new meaning to Asbos ,Antisocial Behaviour Orders for Sheep

Normally applying to people but in this case the sheep are running riot, not quite wolves but possibly behaving like hyenas

They are eating bushes and plants in peoples gardens, pooing everywhere and keeping people awake at night bleating

There is no sign of Bo Peep either to help out, it is a 'lost' cause for her

The owner says they have a right to graze in the village under an ancient law

But this law only applies to pigs not sheep

Either way he needs to be careful, if one or two go missing there might be

lamb chops on the menu in the village for all

For goodness sake they are animals. Yes it's annoying and frustrating but they are living animals. I've rougue chickens where I am. One lives under a dumped van there's chicken poo all round it and you have to be careful not to stand in it or run the chicken over but you get used to it and we often hear cockrels yelling but it's life

Jerseydrew So true J, i would rather have a few sheep roaming around than some feral yobs that some people get where they live

In the New Forest you see horses, donkeys, cows and pigs roaming and eating in villages. Of course they lean over garden fences to eat anything within reach.

Pjran Very true P, and why complain about their droppings, it is the best manure for the garden, and free

Imnotcheap I think people will find anything they can to moan about I, even when getting free garden services and fertiliser 😉

Surely people must realise if you live in the countryside there are animals. My mum use to get cows in her garden when they moved them to different fields and it would be a herd.

I can imagine what the grass would have been like after they left M

Always seems a privilege to me when I walk in the countryside and get a close encounter with one of the animals. This cow came over to me and I rubbed her head and spoke to her in a calm non-threatening manner. I quite enjoy such encounters. I think I'd like to live in a village where you encounter a lot of animals day to day.

BonzoBanana I remember camping with some school friends in a random field by a river when i was younger and waking up to the sound of mooing

When i opened the tent flap we were surrounded by a herd of cows !

After packing up it was like being in a minefield, we had to tread very carefully to avoid the many cow pats surrounding us

But we laughed about it later

telmel I seem to remember a story I heard somewhere where a person was camping in a field and left their tent open slightly and in the morning there was a sheep in the tent sleeping. I guess it had a trusting nature and fancied being warmer and dryer than normal.

BonzoBanana Imagine waking up to that B, especially if you had been counting sheep to try to get to sleep, this one was a good start 😀
