My mums was told she has vitamin b12 deficiency. Its usually iron deficiency and they told her to eat more dairy products. My mums was also called in and was told she would need to take some vitamin injections which she had to go to the doctors for. It was one every three days for 2-3 weeks I think it was.
I have a Pernicious anemia which basically means my body cant absorb B12. I have to have B12 injections for the rest of my life. Before i had treatemnt i was extremely tired all the time, feeling weak and run down and also had numbness and tingling in my legs. I have also developed peripheral neuropathy as a result of this.
