How Do Voucher Codes Work on This Site?

Ask a Question

Can someone please explain how voucher codes are used on this site

Constantly being removed because they are not multiple vouchers

Surely it's a code that everyone can use, what has multiple got to do with it, I just don't understand how it works it all

Hi martinlufc5637

You cannot share codes that are personal and can be used once. All shared voucher codes must be with unlimited use during a period of time.

kikogpe but how do you know if they are for unlimited use over a period of different days?

martinlufc5637 I am not responsible for moderating vouchers but by experience, the team knows what is a personal code. Example from your removed post:

Code: 2380881410112600

T&C's: "The voucher is valid only until 25th of May and can only be used once."

A regular voucher will be something like: Welcome10, HAPPY25, etc

kikogpe martinlufc5637 hey Kiko has it right here. Random long codes tend to be unique and single-use. Codes with words in like “SUMMER10” tend to be multi-use

martinlufc5637 usually single use codes come from voucher codes and other websites like that where you need to log in. If they are just random letters and numbers, they are most probably single use. I hope that helps

I would also like some clarity on Vouchers. Is there an FAQ section on vouchers? For example, on the moderation process, what method are you using to establish if a website is trustworthy, refreshing older posts, LD Voucher accounts, etc.

ACR In that case, it is better to call in Tom and Kelsey, as I cannot help.

ACR hey no we don’t have a FAQ section on vouchers specifically.

Established sites - we look at stuff like the company history, age, revenues, VAT registration, reviews, privacy policies and more.

Refreshing older posts - From what I remember - eek! - I think it’s the same as deals? If your voucher code post is older than a month and still working you can refresh it?

LD voucher accounts - Our team looks for discount codes every day just as they do deals and posts them on the site to help members save money

Is there any other specific questions I can help you with?

Tom thank you for your reply. I often get a 'Something went wrong. Please check above for errors' message when I try to post voucher codes for websites that haven't been posted on LD before.

ACR hmm, usually that message is accompanied with another error message in a field above. New websites should be allowed to post, they just get manually reviewed before going live. Next time you get that error for a new site for a voucher, please may you share it with me to take a look?
