Walking Apps for Rewards

Money Saving

I’ve heard of a few apps that you can download that give you rewards for walking - such as sweatcoin and whealthy - has anyone used these or any others and are they any good?

Sweatcoin is rubbish, the fact you have to swap for prizes and it drains my battery is not worth it. Don't know the other one.

I’ve got both. Like everyone else, I think sweatcoin is rubbish - It’s going to take ages to get anything. I cashed out once on whealthy and due to cash out soon again, but they do keep moving the goalposts...that’s usually a bad sign. But it’s quite a fun app as there’s different things you can do on it to get rewards

I’ve downloaded Whealthy and think it shouldn’t take too long (maybe a week) to be able to cash out with the ‘new user’ reward of £1.30, not sure if I’ll stick with it after that

lornaae definitely get rid of it after your first cash out. The goalpost moved again for me today - when I first used it, it said to get £7.40 I needed 20 million coins. As soon as I get close to it, it moved to 25 million. I hit that today and now it’s moved to 31 million. So cash out with this after the initial 4 million is impossible

hspexy oh wow that’s really frustrating! I’ll definitely cash out and delete after 4 million then, thanks for the heads up

lornaae you’re welcome. It’s such a shame as I think it’s a fun app, especially the spot the difference game, where you can get 50k per round. But out of principle I won’t be using it anymore

hspexy Yeah I've been quite enjoying the spot the difference and it's a quick way to build up points!

hspexy Shady 100%. I don't bother, having GPS on and the battery usage is not worth it for 1 pound or 7 pounds over a few months.

I quite like sweatcoin,I'm always on the go 🙂 I have almost made 2.5k coins since may,you can upgrade to troublemaker, which is around £1 a month to earn up to 50 sweatcoins a day, plus you have 3 bonus spins where you can earn extra coins,if anything its really motivating to be more active x

I have used sweatcoin and it's still on my phone but I haven't been really paying attention to it. Due to me walking partly to and from work it was easier for me to get the steps needed. I manage to get some smoothies but unfortunately they were not nice in taste maybe due to the vegan nature of the brand. Not all of the sweatcoin offers are for me but if you're into fitness then they will be more appealing.

Does sweatcoin pay out in rewards rather than money/vouchers then?

lornaae that's right. You can use their sweatcoins as a type of currency that can be spent within their app.. they even send you sweatcoin "payslips" 😂 to let you know how much you have earned

No worries i saw the FX rate conversion page! Do we have to click on the claim 500 to claim the points or is there a faster way? My 9k steps are taking forever to claim points for!

MsLamboLova12 Once you have done your steps you do have to keep clicking on the 500 and watch short videos. On the app itself is other ways to boost your points. A lot of them I do while watching tv as you set things up like the daily sports and wait until it has finished. I have claimed twice now, 4 million I got paid, then the next claim is 20 million, the next one now I am trying to get to is 35,500,000 but payment is only £7.40. I think I got around that amount for 20 million. It is a lot of time and effort for small payment, but like I say I do a lot of while watching tv or I set it up it and leave it while I am doing something else.

I've had Sweatcoin for a few years and never really got anything good from it. I've downloaded Whealthy as a lot of people here have recommended it and it seems great so far.
