How Much Did Your Wedding Dress Cost?

My wedding dress cost £300, it was all lace and a very good bargain at the time. My daughters cost £600. Well done on you for donating.

I can’t remember how much I paid for my wedding dress but it did get worn twice in 18 months. My sister in law was so upset with her wedding dress once it was made and asked to borrow mine. She’s at least 6 inches shorter so it needed altering and I never got it back or any money for it.

My dress and veil were £750. Everyone thought it was much more expensive, got so many compliments on it, guests couldn't believe it didn't cost more than it did.

My wedding dress cost £389.50. That was 36 yrs ago. I knew the style I wanted, the bridal shop brought me loads cheaper as I didn't have loads of money. We paid for our own wedding, as soon as I was shown my wedding dress I knew it was the 1. Didn't ask the price, but my mummy looked and said it's more expensive. I didn't care. Since then it's been worn at another wedding and used for halloween for a zombie bride. Haven't got it back, but I'm divorced lol.

Nothing. I got all my married friends who still had their wedding dresses and were willing to lend it to me to bring their dresses round so I could try them on and borrowed my favourite one. !!
