RegularComper90 I clicked to say the same! Now, I know I am an old fuddy duddy, but I have never understood why anyone wants to go out and get off their face drunk, make a fool of themselves, spend 2 days recovering and feeling like sh*t and not even remember the supposedly good time they had........beats me. But then each to their own
Lynibis It's nice to have you back with us.
As for myself, I am going to be taking a little break from comping for a short while. But I will still be around in the chat section.
Lynibis I just haven't really been motivated all that much lately. Just like with anything I suppose. But I will be back to comping again soon.
UPDATE: I have just received an email informing me that I had won a Thorntons chocolate hamper. That has motivated me to continue with the comping. So you can expect to start seeing comps posted by me again at any time shortly!
I don't drink, but I worked in a pub. Drink water between each drink. It helps to keep you hydrated. Also it takes roughly an hour for a unit of alcohol to leave your blood stream, so drink slowly and leave time between each drink. Make sure you drink water before you go to bed as well. You need to stay hydrated as dehydration is one of the reasons why you feel so awful. The more units you drink the longer it takes for the alcohol to leave your body.
Eat b4 you binge drinking so the alcohol can be soaked up... Next morning a nice greecey fry up followed by a bit of exercise...
Some people have hair of the dog
Try to drink a pint glass of water in between your drinks on a night out. I know I know drinking a pint glass of water while your out but you will feel the benefits in the morning also if you can take these take two paracetamol and two ibuprofen before you go to bed if you suffer with hangover headaches. It does really work and the obvious eat before you go out snack in-between (salty snacks) and a glass of water before bed
rehydration salts are a must, specially if you have been sick but still are great if you haven't. I find a red bull and a fry up used to sort me out. I rarely drink anymore prefer to use the calories on food!
MumOfThree ahh I have had dioralyte before when I have been sick I will give them a try when I get my next hangover. Hopefully not very soon because I suffer so bad with them
You can drink more water and it will be helpful for your good health.Try to have more fruit juice during the middle time for the perfect skin beauty.Enjoy the night dinner with the traditional wine for your friday fun
Don't down tons of water when you wake up - its too much shock on your stomach, it can make you feel sick, so sip slowly. also, avoid coffee. Take paracetamol for feeling unwell and ibuprofen for headaches - make sure you eat a small amount before taking. If you do have a headache, relax in bed and watch light TV to shift your focus. If you feel generally unwell/sick, get out of bed and go for a short walk.
