Some Weird Mcdonalds Meals You Can Get in Different Parts of the World
In the News
Yes, you can get more than just a big mac, depending on where you are on holiday
I think Japan has the strangest variety, soy sauce-flavoured burgers for example, or a ‘shrimp burger’ named the ‘Gracoro Burger’, Their Big Mac consists of macaroni, shrimp and a soft bun with shredded cabbage and teriyaki sauce
Mexico also do a McMuffin - an open muffin with refried beans, a slice of cheese and tomato salsa.
In Australia they do Vanilla Coke, yuk
One i do like the sound of is a McFlurrie in New Zealand, where you can order blue bubble gum syrup-flavoured , served with marshmallows.
Would you give any of these a punt or would you just stick with traditional orders ?
I'm not a McDonald's customer, but I would venture in one of their outlets if they started to sell Shamrock Shakes during March to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. They are available every year in the US, Canada and Ireland. However, given our proximity to Ireland and the amount of Irish people living in the UK I'm a little disappointed they are still not available here - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shamrock_Shake
telmel I had a big Mac yesterday, first one in ages, they've changed, toasted bun ect.. didn't like it, they've ruined it
Did someone say Shamrock Shakes...Loving the sound of that as of my human family one is 50% Irish the other two are 75% Irish...
Bring on the Shamrock Shakes!!
Here's hoping,
St Purrrtrick
I had no idea McDonalds Meals vary according to each country's geography. I thought everyone had the same menu as the US, UK, etc. I only go to McDonalds as a treat or when they have half price meals.
France sells macaroons. Discovered this at Easter. We only go to Mcdonalds as a treat on holiday. I refuse to go to our local one
I don't think I've been into McDonalds more than 5 times in my life and pretty much always disappointed and prices seem to have got up a lot in recent years. It doesn't help that one of our McDonalds is right next to the sewage works. Their products are horribly processed and I think the burgers sold in the states would be illegal to sell here due to the beef used.
I find burgers cheaper and higher quality away from McDonalds plus the one's you do at home are so much nicer in taste and healthier.
telmel Especially in the summer with high temperatures. The green trees in the background is basically a small barrier to the sewage processing just behind it.
telmel I have to admit having a McDonalds right next to a sewage works does seem right they feel like a good match.
