What do I need for Playstation VR?

What do I need for Playstation VR? I'm confused as to what I need for the Playstation VR.
Also, what Playstation VR games are out? And are they any good?
Any help, much appreciated!

VR, Camera and Move controllers are optional technically but needed.
> Also, what Playstation VR games are out? And are they any good?
Tech demos mostly at the moment. Short games that are experiences rather than fully fledged games. Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood, Batman VR, Star Wars Batttlefront X Wing Mission, Rez Infinite, Battlezone and Rigs are some of the better ones.
Next year brings Resident Evil and Ace Combat.
Does it work with the old PS4 or just the PS4 Pro? And what do you mean by optional but technically needed?
What I'm confused about is why it's trending everywhere, with it running out of stock immediately, if there are only tech demos? Seems to be like buying Google Glass?
> Does it work with the old PS4 or just the PS4 Pro?
Both. Although can be better with the Pro.

The Move controllers are used for a lot of games. Some allow you to use your standard PS4 controller although using the Move controllers is 100 times better and more fluid. Using the PS4 controller is quite jarring to the experience.

There has been huge stock problems with the PSVR. Not enough stock has been coming through. It was originally estimated 2.5 million would be sold by the end of the year. It has been downgraded to 750,000. Early adopters will buy the PSVR hoping the games come through. Just like the Pro. Just like before that the Kinect and Move controllers. New technology that has a wow factor.
Dread the Xbox Kinect is pointless. I got it when I originally bought the Xbox One and other than it never working and suddenly making my player tilt left or right, and being slightly creepy (NSA conspiracy), it's pretty clunky. I tried to hack it following some instructables thing so that if it recognised my face it'd do something via IFTTT (e.g. Turn on the lights), but didn't have luck lol.
Are you getting a PSVR? I imagine playing a game like Alien might be really good on it. Other things like Star Wars Battlefront I'm not sure. Would be good for about 10 minutes, maybe?
Tom I was going to but then the lack of proper games made me hold back. I was also going to use it in cinema mode but it was pretty universally agreed in every comment i saw that the resolution was so bad in that mode it was pointless. Will probably wait until proper games are released and they work out what works best. Aswell as a bump to the resolution. The technology is getting there. It is just more of a novelty rather than a gaming option at the moment.
Tom You have an Xbox don't you ?
1. Find watch dogs 2 deluxe edition in the xbox store (on the Xbox)
2. Press on redeem code
3. Enter WR3QY-TQCVW-VPYMJ-JQXQP-76RTZ
4. It will say something along the lines of xbox error code ect.
5. Press B and it will take you back to the redeem screen with the code already entered.
6. Hit redeem once again and it will say 'you already own this item'
7. Go into my games and app/ready to install and it will be there waiting for you!
you've just made my day. I'm in the office right now - I hope the glitch still works when I get home.
Dread Jackinatorz69 I've read quite a few people warning you may get a permanent ban from the Microsoft Store if you do this. If only there was a glitch for the PSVR! Maybe we're already in VR....
Tom A ban won't happen. They say that every time there is a glitch. Last time it was Fallout it just got revoked and Microsoft gave everybody £6 credit. You can also swap regions and grab a couple of games and nobody got banned for that either. It says when you enter the code to give to a friend and you are not doing anything wrong entering a code.
