What's the best way to become an "official" student?
Deals
Hey guys, has anyone got a student card (preferably NUS or UNiDAYS) as an adult?
Do you know the cheapest and easiest way to become an "official" student to get one?
I've read online that there are various e-courses that only cost a few £££ and let you become a student to save money.
Student cards normally let you save 10% including on sale items.
Absolutely no help to your question but I miss being a student. I also miss the 18-25 railcard. That bad boy gave some serious savings!
I have read on online courses that cost real cheap when they are marked down but you can get hold of a student card for a year or so. Not attempted myself but probably worth trying.
My mum did a voluntary English course at the job centre and got a student card... was great going shopping with her 20% discount card. Huge savings.
I have just done an experiment which allowed me to order an NUS card. Will see if it comes in a week - if it does, will write a blog post explaining how.
Oh just found out : McDonalds have been offering free food to students for a long time but you’d be surprised at how many people are not aware of this offer. If you have a Student card, you can get a FREE cheeseburger, Mayo Chicken or a McFlurry when you purchase an Extra Value Meal.....
Allllriiiiiiiight. 3 year student card for about £30 without having to do a thing I will explain how soon http://i.imgur.com/qniX9NR.jpg
Tom Cool! Can't wait to read about it.
I've kind of written off Zavvi since they cancelled my Mini NES order due to not having enough stock although I ordered it very early. Very incompetent from The Hut Group. Nintendo Store did the same too and well, they're also part of The Hut Group.
Having a discount on Amazon is always great.
Here it is folks. How to become a student as an adult. One of the best discounts I think is 10% off at the Co-Operative supermarket. Brilliant if you have one nearby. A few of you will enjoy the discounts on game sites. Plus there are some travel discount opportunities, and food too. If you enjoy going to the cinema, you'll be able to save at Odeon and Vue Cinema too.
