Whats Your Take When People Eat Your Food?

Ask a Question

So I bought some canned foods and had to carry them back home so heavy while walking back on steep hill! Takes about 20 minutes or so from local Sainbsury’s and snacks I bought on Amazon using gift cards I earned on here takes a lot of time and effort! Delivery just came on Thursday

Damn sh*t family member takes them to eat like wtf 🤬 saying I’m hiding them when in a box cause no where else to put them

Really irritating 😠!!

Hide the tin openers. You need to have your own cupboards and fix a lock on yours 😂

Kitty88uk, if you can afford it, buy a cupboard with a lock on it

Put a price ticket on everything. Add FAT tax (family/friends added tax) to everything at 20%. Failing that buy a bicycle lock and put it round the handles of the cupboard if they are the right sort of handles. Put the nice stuff right at the back at the bottom then buy some cheap tins of veg etc and put those in front. If you are hiding your tin opener you need to snap the little ring thing off. If you can peel the labels off and swap them round (obviously keeping a note so you know what is what !)

Certain items of food belong to different family members and we don’t touch each others unless we ask. Always worked for us.

It can be annoying but i have less of a problem if it is a family member or friend. When someone takes my lunch at work it can be really annoying.

jms19 that’s literally theft! Put a sticky note 📝 with your name on it! What do you have for lunches at work? Store bought or homemade foods?

jms19 if it happens regularly at work and specially if its on a particular day - sprinkle your lunch liberally with a laxative!

kitty88uk yeah people do write their names on it but it doesn’t seem to stop it happening. It is theft and it’s very annoying.

Get a lockable cupboard and put the keys in a hiding place or a key safe with combination code. Should stop it. Not that expensive.

Can’t say it happens that much for me. My mum used to eat my food before and it’s insulting as I was very particular about what I ate in the past. Oh well
