Will You Be Trying the New Cheesy Heinz Beans ?

Ask a Question

So Heinz have come up with a new flavour product , cheesy beans

They are going to be made available from the 21st february

I must admit i like a bit of cheese and beans on toast, topped with some brown sauce

But i am not sure i would pay a premium price just because it is already mixed in

I much prefer to melt it myself by toasting it and then pouring the beans over the top

And this way i can choose my preferred cheese , with this you only have the choice of cathedral city cheese , take it or leave it

What do you think, is it a good idea ?

I'd try them. Although, I will still prefer making my own cheesy beans from scratch. Plus, Heinz would presumably be using a long life cheese, which wouldn't be as good quality as regular cheese.

Hate baked beans so definitely will not be trying. I remember that baked beans pizza they used to do and that made me feel sick at the thought of it

I buy cheaper beans and if I want them cheesy then I cut up some cheese (quite small) and just add that to the beans in the saucepan. Voila!

I prefer to melt my own cheese on food but if it's sold at a reasonable price, I may try it 😃

Consumer It's Heinz so it won't be sold at a reasonable price at all. The full price on their tinned soups nowadays is £1.70 although you do get promotions fairly regularly.

BonzoBanana Seems like we have different ideas of what is reasonable. Of course I'd look out for promotions 👍

I would certainly add grated cheese on top of my beans on toast but would not buy this product.

I've gotta say they sound interesting. But I won't be trying as have a dairy allergy. I'm guessing they will be way more expensive than a normal tin of beans.
