The Worlds Smallest Council House, would you live in it ?

So this woman lives in the worlds smallest council house which is a beautiful round 17th century Dutch Cottage, in Raleigh, Essex
She has lived there since 2008 and pays just a nominal rent of £75 per week
It is very small , only 20 ft across , so small she had to have her bed specially made to fit in
There were 50 applicants that applied for the property and she was successful
She thinks her application was partly successful due for the fact she is only 5 ft tall, but cannot confirm this , the application that is , not her height
The other condition is that she has to show tourists around her property every week , which is a tall order, in the not so tall property
I reckon the council should go 'dutch ' with her regarding the cleaning, especially after tourists 'clogging' up her stairs, or ladder in this case

What a lovely home. I think its a great deal even with the requirment to walk tourists through. Bargain.

PaxAmerica You could charge for the tours and even sell merchandise P, that with the cheap rent might make it worth it ?
Unfortunately link dId not work for me. But I am thinking of downsizing. Maybe not that small. I stayed in hotel suite recently and I said to my husband that I could actually live here.
That looks great , I could definitely live in that, £75 a week wow council rent is very good anyway compared to private rental
The rent seems very cheap but it’s too small for me. I wouldn’t want to open it weekly either.
50 applicants despite being so small. If it was twice as big it would probably have had 500 applicants. Nice to see there is at least one council house left. About £50 billion a year is paid to private landlords by the state due to lack of council property. £50 billion is about £800 from every single individual in the UK or about £1800 from every working person. It's something that needs to stop but the great firesale of council property by Thatcher meant long term a huge extra burden on tax payers. She wouldn't of needed to sell assets to shore up revenue if we hadn't joined the EU either which caused a huge amount of payments to the EU and huge destruction of UK manufacturing etc trying to compete with countries in Europe with far lower wages and that was caused by Edward Heath another conservative. Huge legacy of problems caused by Conservatives.
Swings and roundabouts, l would love to have a little place of my own with a small rent price, but people/ strangers trooping through my home once a week is a definite no no for me.
Pinkspirit As i mentioned P it could be lucrative if you put a business head on , sell souvenirs , some home made products, if you obtained a certificate to do this, even framed photos, i would definitely make use of living there , but i know some value privacy more which i understand
