Xmas Decorations

A bit too much? Or something we should all strive for?
I think it could be saw as over the top, I like it as it makes an impression and makes things really Christmasy I wouldn’t go this far myself but its nice they’ve made an effort.
I like it myself, but it definitely stands out as no other house near it has the same level of decoration - perhaps it's just a tad early, as we are stallion November. But I appreciate that this family have decided to cheer up the neighbourhood
me too. It is a touch early for this level of merriment, but on a dark, grim, cold day like today, it is the beacon of joy that lights up the street :-)
lol, that's over the top, but whoever did that must have a lot of money. Is this some posh upper flat in the UK???
it is indeed in an area where the residents have a bit of money to spare, and I have been told that the owner of this property is a pilot, and I know they are well paid
I think too much is ok, but it needs to be balanced and nicely put together. The styles needs to look good together. These things on the picture are so different...it is a no for me...do not do this
I know what you mean, as I would not be likely to do this for my house, mainly as it is too much for me. But to look at as a passerby, I have no problems with it :-)
hspexy If everything was in the reindeer style it could be so nice with white artificial flowers
AgnesFaludi that would look a lot classier, and perhaps more in keeping with the neighbourhood. Although there is a school nearby this house, so I am guessing the family wanted to entertain the kids
hspexy I think some people just put out everything they have. I think we have one house like this around, but this year the things not out yet...
I like houses that go over the top but I don’t particularly like this one. There is a row of houses near where I live and they all make so much effort it looks amazing! They all put them up on the same day and it all matches
Lol now that’s neighbourhood/community spirit for you! Although I’ve seen neighbourhoods where I believe residents are just being competitive - looks good to me, either way
Lol it does seem a bit. I think the family that lives there have young kids, so wouldn’t be surprised if they instigated it!
