Seems good value for the spec but it was never worth £700 that would buy you a much better laptop however at £300 it seems like a nice spec, decent storage, decent memory and a processor which provides decent battery life and decent performance. It feels about right in pricing at £300. If you only use a laptop around the home with a mains socket always available perhaps consider a stronger processor laptop with less battery life.
