You can get broadband from Now Broadband for £22.00 per month. The contract is for 12 months. The download speed is up to 63mbps. Line rental is included. Download usage is unlimited. This is fibre broadband via copper cable. There is no upfront fee. To help compare with other deals, in terms of speed it costs £0.35 per mbps.
Compared to Sky Broadband, which is the closest in comparison despite a slower download speed of 59 Mbps is £28 per month.

Pfs Thanks, can you help me with a screenshot and link of where you've seen cheaper for the same or better download speed?
Here's my spreadsheet of broadband plans which have data download speeds of 50+ mbps:
I posted Vodafone's here (but it's £25 so not cheaper) and cant' see anything cheaper for the same speed?
I also can't find BT doing cheaper, and I spoke to them today, with the cheapest plan for that speed being £27.99 (see here).
If you could show me where you're seeing these cheaper prices that'd be great as I must be missing them and can add them to my list, thanks!
I do appreciate they may have slower non-fibre broadband plans that may be cheaper!
Thanks!
Pfs ah thanks, my understanding is Essentials packages require you to have Universal Credit or other specific State benefits such as Pension Credit? Is that right?

I will keep this in mind for future broadband posts. I don’t currently include such in my comparison table
