Plus, you can also see advance screenings of upcoming releases and these don’t count towards your pre-booking limit!

Thanks sophiereddy! For anyone wondering, the PerksAtWork employee benefit scheme is the default for any companies that use the CharlieHR system. So if your work uses CharlieHR it probably has PerksAtWork. You might just not know it!

Also, single tickets are available at a discount too:

Group 1 Locations: Was £5.99, Now £4.80

Group 2 Locations: Was £9.99, Now £7.95

Group 3 Locations: Was £12.99, Now £10.35

Be careful with Cineworld. My partner and I cancelled our memberships, because we went through a year using the cards once, so we wanted to put the money to other uses.

You need an exceptional reason to cancel with them, because 'having a baby is not a good enough reason, have you tried either earning more money or cancelling other subscriptions first?'

I managed to get through to a manager after a week of calling to cancel, who cancelled for both of us immediately.

So yeah, just be careful. The cinemas are fine, enjoyed the popcorn and drinks, staff are nice too. But customer services and the cancelling phone line could do with an adjustment.

VictoriaLay Thank you for the helpful comment!

I suppose you could always cancel the direct debit via your online banking too. This is usually a one-step process. That depends on if you pay via direct debit of course.

To help others, here's the information on cancelling from the Cineworld FAQ:

If you change your mind about your membership, you can cancel any time after the first 12 months of your contract by providing one months’ notice in writing to unlimited@cineworld.co.uk or by calling the Unlimited Helpline: Unlimited Helpline on 0330 333 4444 (UK) or 0818 304 204 (ROI).
