It's pretty obviously a rebranding of a Chinese drill so the 'German Design' bit is a complete lie. They are the importer. I used to be a compliance officer and saw Einhell products on the same certification as many other Chinese products which were all fully designed and engineered in China. The certification of these Chinese products would list many importer models into one certification to save themselves a lot of money. However the end result was different importers could all see which competitors products were the same product from the same factory. You end up feeling very cynical about marketing claims from many brands who clearly have no issue being completely dishonest in their marketing. However the important thing is some of these Chinese designed and engineered tools are very good for the money which ever brand they have on them. However some are not as good. Einhell products will come from lots of different factories in China.
