Little Bird (Kids Discounts)
Little Bird have loads of ideas for discounted days out, lots have been posted on site already but worth checking them out and seeing what's on available in your area. Current offers on their website include cheap London Zoo tickets, Warwick Castle tickets from £14, £3 Llama Park entry plus lots more.
Not the first place you would think of looking but set your location and have a look under the "Things To Do" category. Lots of cheap and discounted things to do tailored to your area and look out for the discount codes to make things even cheaper. They have 2 Odeon Cinema Tickets for £11.50 or 5 for £23.75 (Inc Booking Fees) or set your location and see what's around your area. I found soft play for 2 with drinks for £5.95 instead of £9.90, Escape Room game for 6 people for £39 instead of £96 and an 3 hour ten pin bowling for 4 with pizza for £23 - well worth a look in your area. Also check at the top for any discount codes to make it even cheaper!
I discovered this site purely by accident last year and have bought lots from them. They negotiate so many tickets at discounted prices for days out and activities but some sell out super quick. Get 10% off your first order if you sign up to their emails too. Current deals showing for me are half price Diggerland family pass for £47.90 instead of £95.80, Flip Out Trampoline park pass for 2 for £8 instead of £16 and Scarborough Sea Life family pass for £35.50 instead of £71
Quite a few offers at Tenpin. 50% off bowling & drinks on a Tuesday from £2.80, 2 games of bowling with a burger meal for £10pp on a Thursday, 25% bowling & food & drink on Friday's from £4.20. They also do 2 games of bowling and a meal for kids for £9.19 or £13.99 for adults. Book online to get the best prices and reserve your lane.
Another good tip is to follow places you want to go on Facebook and Instagram as they sometime post flash deals on there so worth following and checking before you buy.
I am very lucky to have this on my doorstep and you don't get discounts for Chester Zoo. The best thing to do is book as far in advance as you can and choose a Monday or Tuesday as they are cheaper than weekends. The orange days on the calendar are the cheapest at £20 per adult and £15.45 for children. Also take a picnic as food can be very expensive and also if you book online, consider buying an unlimited soft drink cup for £9.99 saving 12.5% on buying on the day which gives you free soft drinks at all the kiosks around the zoo - its a huge place and little legs get tired and very thirsty!
Get tickets for £12 when you book online in advance this half term or pay £16 on the day for Gullivers World in Warrington and Milton Keynes. Every day during half term and Saturday and Sunday until the 15th of March - you must book 2 days in advance to get these rates.
2 for 1 on Big Attractions with Days Out Guide, National Rail
Tom spoke about this on ITV Lorraine: Buy train tickets with national rail and use their Days Out Guide to get 2-for-1 on all the biggest attractions nationwide. This include LEGOLAND, Thorpe Park, Cadbury World and more. Specific offers are available for each city, and so it's worth having a read.
Quick Travel Tips

- Trainline - Download Trainline app and book train tickets as far in advance as possible. You can save up to 80% by booking ahead. Plus, with Trainline app, if you get an e-ticket you can instantly apply for refunds should your train be delayed.
- Megabus - Coach is nearly always cheaper than train (unless you follow the steps above!). Megabus has discount fares from just £1.50 across the country. However, it can be a bit of a nightmare to travel as a family on a coach, so you may need some bargain toys to keep the children busy.
