As this is an expanding hose, it will expand to the full length when connected to the water supply. Out of the box, the hose will be significantly shorter until connected to the garden tap.
Expanding hoses are not suitable for garden taps with low pressure such as kitchen mixer taps, nor can they be connected to water butts. They work well with garden taps as these are normally of a high pressure.
As the hose needs to expand, expandable hoses are not suitable to be stored on hose reels. They are also not suitable to be used with pressure washers. If you wish to use a pressure washer, store this on a reel or connect to a kitchen sink mixer tap, please use a traditional garden hose.
