Prime day to me is nothing special. I can't find anything to shout home about. I've already got the Alexas and a tablet. The prices don't seem that great to me
mumstheword26 I think it all depends on what someone needs and the main factor is the price, we want to buy as low as possible. There are some good deals, although the margin from lowest prices is small. Sometimes £1 - £2. I do check prices on pages like camelcamelcamel or keepa, although I can just look at the deal and know if it's a good deal or not.
mumstheword26 I think if you're looking for something specific then it all depends what they have on offer. I've seen a few good very good deals so far personally looking through Amazon myself
mumstheword26 I've not even looked this time, but their usual trick is to put prices up leading up to these sort of events so that the reductions seem better than they are, when really you're paying about the same price as you can get it any other time
mumstheword26 yeah it’s mostly a con these days tbh, a lot of the items can be found cheaper at other times of the year or different retailers.
Those who don't have prime may still be able to apply for a free prime membership or a discounted prime for a week/month. Sometimes it's £0.99 for a week or free for a month, so if you find something you like you can see if you can join prime for free or at discounted price.

I've always noticed the prices increase slowly for a month prior to these prime days then they slash the prices to what they originally were a month ago for prime day
