Looks a decent laptop and decent value. More powerful laptops aren't much more expensive but if this is what you want to pay seems a good option. Seems to be a 8 core chip but with only single channel memory, the fabrication process is described as 'Intel 7' but looking online this appears to be actually a 10Nm process not 7Nm process and 'Intel 4' is actually their 7Nm fabrication process which they are having difficultly manufacturing. I've got a laptop with a Celeron N5100 and that appears to be the same 10Nm fabrication process. Overall battery life is decent but not amazing at up to 8hrs, I suspect playing modern games you would be lucky to get 3hrs but I could be wrong.
