Be careful with this . Use it as soon as you buy it and hold on to physical receipts . Otherwise hackers / corrupt Microsoft employees sell the codes online and then later when you try to add code to your own account, will say code already used . If you have physical receipt you can claim ownership to the licence which corrupt Microsoft employees have sold to someone else like CDkeys etc . I only learned the hard way that you cannot hold on to Microsoft licences as they go invalid after some time as others already using them in their computers making the one Microsoft sold you worthless and invalid.
