Self locking

The Tape can be easily extended to the desired measurement without the need to lock the tape in place. The dual lock can also be used to securely fix the blade in place if needed. The Rubber cover gives excellent grip when wet and dusty.

Thumb lock release

The Thumb release is pressed with minimum effort and the tape retracts inside the housing. It can be released at any point to re-secure the tape in place and then fixed in place with the additional thumb lock if needed.

Magnetic tip

The magnetic tip can be used to attach or hook onto ferrous metal objects for measuring gaps in windows, steel frames and other metallic work areas to increase accuracy during use.

Double sided tape

The tape is double sided with Metric and imperial on top and metric only on the bottom. This is particularly useful when measuring vertical or overhead while the hook end is attached to an edge. This means that measurements in metric can be taken from the underneath instead of turning and twisting the blade of the tape.
