The ‘Series 1’ is recognised as being the only car that Carroll Shelby created from a blank slate, all others being re-engineered versions of other-manufacturer models. Launched in 1998 and built by Shelby American, this stylish 320bhp two-seater featured a 4.0L V8 DOHC engine capable of 0-60mph in only 4.4 seconds! Revell’s detailed kit features a finely detailed body, 4.0L engine with transmission and engine bay with air-cooling system, opening bonnet, full interior, suspension, 5-spoke chromed wheels and rubber tyres.
