Yet another discount based on RRP, this is not a real price, and therefore any discount from it, can not be relied upon.....
In fact the RRP is the only price that is always a constant, because RRPs are set by the manufacturer not the retailer. There are only two 'real prices' the RRP and the Selling Price.
The discount against RRP is the most reliable way for consumers to compare discounts between different retailers. This is because some retailers choose to set their original price higher than the RRP to create a 'Was Price', and then discount against their 'Was Price' which artificially inflates the discount.
In this case the RRP is exactly as stated by Russell Hobbs (see https://uk.russellhobbs.com/product/3100w-powersteam-ultra-20630) and the selling price is the lowest it's ever been on Amazon, see graph. I doubt you'll find it cheaper from any other well known and reputable retailer with free delivery.
Johnny RRP is Recommended Retail Price, this price is what the manufacturer of an item states it could be sold for but in reality it never really is. the RRP is not a Was Price, it's a what it could have been price, but as already explained probably never was. Therefore RRP cannot be relied upon as an accurate figure. I am not therefore stating that this offer is not cheap, all I am stating is the essence of not relying on the RRP as a guide from that price, to the actual final selling price. It is of course up to those buying to check the actual price being asked, elsewhere on the internet, and not totally rely just upon the RRP to assume that one is getting a bargain, would be unwise, as there have been deals on LD that have used RRP to try and suggest a bargain, when in fact the item concerned was never sold at the RRP price, and therefore the comparison between the two prices is not correct, RRP has, and always will be, just a recommendation.
