i bought this mobile for my daughter ? as a back up from amazon 2yrs go for £20 it has all the apps and its the mobile to take on holidays ?and boozy nights out ?rather lose £15 than £200
I have been using this phone for a good while now and I too can vouch that as a backup or even main it's pretty decent. It runs most of the apps (few are "incompatible" but you can download and install the apks, anyway), alert on new emails received (even shows a green light), play games (not really my thing on a smartphone) and such.
Some people give these cheap phones slack for being slow although in my experience, it's not really that laggy - only when there's too many apps opened.

Thanks Rockman Hoping I can finally fix all the Android quirks with LD now!
Hey Kelsey, you should install Kaspersky which is free on the Play Store and if you plan on listening to music with it, go with VLC.
ES File Explorer also free is much better than the file manager the phone comes with. And one last recommendation, if it bothers you that there's no battery percentage then download the one that's titled Battery Percentage Enabler.
Besides all this on the Play Store, you then have the apks that you can download via Chrome (or on a PC to the Android).
P.S. I've tried rooting the phone with the apps that exist to do it and none of them worked, unfortunately. Rooting allows to use extra features like removing system apps that can't be uninstalled normally.
