My Morrisons: How Does the Loyalty Scheme Work?
My Morrisons is the Morrisons loyalty programme. It’s free to sign up and you can get discounts, offers and rewards on your shopping. In this guide we’ll break down everything you need to know about the loyalty scheme, including how to set up a My Morrisons account, how to use your digital card through the My Morrisons app, what My Morrisons rewards you can expect.
What is My Morrisons?
My Morrisons is the Morrisons rewards programme. It used to be called Morrisons More. It is Morrisons' equivalent of Tesco’s Clubcard, or ASDA Rewards. It’s free to join and you can earn rewards on your shopping.
If you shop at Morrisons, it’s worth setting up a My Morrisons account. All you need to do is sign up, download the My Morrisons app, and scan your digital card at checkout.
You’ll receive personalised offers based on your shopping habits, rewards, and the ability to join My Morrisons Clubs.
How to join My Morrisons More
You can sign up to a My Morrisons account here.
To register an account, you’ll need to input your email address, fill in your personal details, and accept the terms and conditions.
If you already have a physical card, you’ll then get the option to connect it to your online account. Or, if you don’t have one, you can get a new digital card. You can find your digital card in the My Morrisons app.

What do you get with My Morrisons?
My Morrisons customers can earn rewards, get exclusive offers and more. All you need to do is scan your My Morrisons card at checkout to get the offers. Some of the My Morrisons perks you can look forward to include:
Personalised Offers
The more you shop, the more Morrisons will get to know you, and they’ll give you personalised offers according to your shopping habits.
These could be discounts on certain brands, products or ranges, for example 15% off baking items. Or, you may even get money off your entire shop, for example £5 off a £40 spend.
At the time of writing this guide, if you sign up to My Morrisons, you’ll get 10% off your first shop as a welcome offer.
You can review your offers in your app or on the Morrisons website by signing in to your My Morrisons account. You’ll need to activate the offers and scan your card at checkout to get the discount.

Basket Bonus
Morrisons also offer something called a Basket Bonus. Everytime you scan your My Morrisons card you’ll get the chance to score a Basket Bonus.
This is essentially an extra reward for shopping at Morrisons. Some examples of Bonus Basket rewards include £5 off your shop, a free bunch of flowers, or a treat from the bakery section.
You can see any Basket Bonus offers you have in the Morrisons app or on the website. Just log into your account and activate any Basket Bonus perks you want to use. Then scan your card at checkout to get the perk.
My Morrisons Clubs
If you’re a My Morrisons member you’ll also get the opportunity to join the My Morrisons Clubs. They have various Clubs dedicated to specific areas. These include their Baby Club, NHS Club and Teacher Club.
If you join a My Morrisons Club, you’ll get access to even more offers, discounts and rewards. So, it’s worth having a look through them to see if any are right for you. You can see the full list of clubs below.
How does it compare to other supermarket loyalty programs?
Unlike loyalty schemes such as Tesco Clubcard, Co-op Membership, M&S Sparks and Sainsbury’s Nectar, you don’t earn any points with My Morrisons, so there isn’t the opportunity to earn any cashback on your shopping.
Having said that, any rewards you can get are better than nothing. So, if you do any shopping at Morrisons, you should be a My Morrisons member.
It’s free to join and you’ll get exclusive offers, rewards and perks. If you can, it’s worth joining any relevant clubs as well, as it’s just more of a chance to get discounts on your shopping.
The basket bonus perks are also a nice way of scoring some extra perks. It’s similar to the M&S Sparks bonus rewards, for example every week a Sparks member gets their entire shop for free. If you’ll be shopping there anyway, it’s definitely worth checking to see if you can get any freebies or money off through this feature, so keep an eye on your My Morrisons app.
