Tesco & Sainsbury's Christmas Delivery Slot Dates Revealed
Hello Deal Hunters!
TESCO and Sainsbury’s have dropped their all-important Christmas delivery dates. If you're keen on avoiding the festive stress, mark these in your calendars!
Delivery dates around Christmas tend to go quickly, so don't hesitate if you're planning on having your shop for the big day delivered to your door.
Sophie King at The Sun reported that for Tesco delivery plan and click & collect delivery plan shoppers, you can get ahead of the game by booking from 7th November. That's a full week earlier than last year's 15th November. If you're a regular Tesco shopper without a delivery plan, your date is 21st November.
As for Sainsbury’s, their delivery pass holders get a jump start from 16th October. Regular customers? Get set for 23rd October. And the click & collect gang? You’re up on 20th November.
Morrisons and Ocado have chimed in too. Morrisons' Delivery Pass shoppers can snag their slots from 18th October, while Ocado's smart pass members will see slots open from next week. Plus, if you're an M&S fan looking for that luxe festive touch, Ocado's got you covered.
Considering the high demand, if you're a regular online shopper, it might be worth getting a delivery pass. They let you order without paying delivery fees every time. Tesco’s delivery saver plans start at just £2.49 for click & collect, while Sainsbury's offers begin from £7.50.
But a word of caution, Deal Hunters. Last year, Tesco's website had a meltdown, leaving many frustrated. So, don't leave it too late!
To conclude, Tom Church, Co-Founder of shopping community LatestDeals.co.uk, says, "Every year, the rush for Christmas delivery slots grows. This move to offer slots earlier is a response to increasing demand. As always, it's about planning ahead and securing your slot early to avoid disappointment."
Happy shopping!
