The rundown:
Baileys remains king with a score of 76%. But Lidl's Deluxe Irish Cream trails by just a mere point and it's £2 cheaper. Currently priced at £7.99 for 70cl- that’s £1.14 per 100ml.
If you're loyal to Baileys, don't pay full price. Right now, Asda, Tesco, and Sainsbury’s have 70cl bottles for £10. Got a Clubcard or Nectar card! That's your ticket to the best deals.
On the hunt for alternatives here's how some others fared:
- M&S Irish Cream Liqueur: 73%, £10 for 70cl.
- Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference: 73%, £12.50 for 70cl.
- Morrisons The Best: 70%, £16 for 1L.
- Aldi Specially Selected: 69%, £8.49 for 70cl.
All the liqueurs in this test are 17% ABV. The score considers 50% taste, 20% aroma, 15% mouthfeel, and 15% appearance.
