We’re all trying to cut back so we can survive the cost of living crisis, whether it’s shopping smartly for groceries, snacks or Christmas presents. Fortunately, Aldi keeps proving it’s a one-stop shop for bargain-friendly dupes that look just like well-known designer brands but cost a fraction of the price.

Deal Hunter Tom Church, Co-Founder of money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk, said: ‘So many good deals come in each week from Aldi and our bargain hunters love them! The latest dupes to arrive in-store are too good not to share, so I’ve revealed my top 10 bargain swaps. If you bought all of these alternatives instead of the big brands, you’d save over £200! Here’s what I found.’

Snackrite Perfections Thai Sweet Chili, £1.19 vs. Walkers Sensations Thai Sweet Chili, £1.99

These Snackrite Perfections Chili Crisps are identical to the Walkers Thai Sweet Chili Sensations, but which bag should you choose? If you’re looking to save some cash, I recommend going for the Aldi dupe. You can currently pick up 150g of the Snackrite crisps in Aldi for £1.19, but if you get the Walkers version in ASDA you’ll be paying £2 - that’s an extra 80p! Morrisons has got them on offer right now for £1.50, but that’s still 30p more.

Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer, £4.99 vs. Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, £48.50

Aldi isn’t just the place for cheap snacks. If you’re looking for some great beauty dupes, you should check out their beauty range. Recently, the Latest Deals community has been loving the Lacura Vitabase Moisturising Primer. At just £5.99, it’s made with vitamins C, B and E plus shea butter. You’ll also find these ingredients in the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, but this product costs £48.50! If you want to browse more cheap beauty products, check out the full Aldi Lacura range.

Belmont Smooth Biscuit Spread, £1.99 vs. Lotus Biscoff Spread, £2.75

2022 has definitely been the year we became obsessed with Biscoff products, but if you want to get your caramelized biscuit fix without spending too much money then why not check out Aldi’s dupe - its Belmont Smooth Biscuit Spread for £1.99? It’s a cheaper deal than the original Lotus Biscoff Spread, which is currently £2.75 in Tesco. You can get it for a little less in Sainsbury's, where it’s on offer for £2 at the moment. If you need your fix then make sure you’re always getting the best price using tricks such as the free Supermarket Price Comparison Tool.

Snackster’s Big Stack, £1.69 vs. McDonald’s Big Mac, £3.99

We all have days when we fancy tucking into some junk food, but these bills can easily add up - especially when you compare the big brands with supermarket dupes. Aldi has done it again with their Snackster’s Big Stack, which comes in at just £1.69 - a much better price than its alternative, McDonald’s Big Mac, priced at £3.99. I must be honest and say that the Aldi dupe isn’t quite as tasty, but next time you’re craving a burger you’ll save over £2 by reaching for this cheaper option.

Brooklea Splitpots Crunch Yogurts, £1.99 vs. Muller Corner Yogurts, £3

Whether you prefer them for breakfast, as a dessert or a tasty snack, Muller Corner yogurts are a great addition to anyone’s fridge. However, you can get a dupe and pay less by going for Aldi’s Brooklea Splitpots Crunch Yogurts priced at £1.99 for 6. Currently, Tesco is offering 6 Muller Corners in similar flavors for £3, while in ASDA, you can save £1 at the moment and pick up 6 for £2.50. Aldi wins the price war with this dupe, though.

Lacura Vanilla Honey Bath, £5.99 vs. Laura Mercier Vanilla Honey Bath, £45

Sometimes you check prices and do a double take, which is exactly what I did when I saw this vanilla honey bath from Laura Mercier for £45! However, there’s good news for those who want a nice soak without forking out a huge wad of cash first, as the Lacura range from Aldi is onto another winner with its Vanilla Honey Bath dupe priced at just £5.99. If you don’t use it yourself, it would make a great Christmas present - and you’re saving £40, too!

Vive Orange Zero, 55p vs. Orange Fanta Zero, £2

Aldi has been crushing it for a while with their Vive drinks range, and a firm favourite amongst the Latest Deals community is their Orange Zero. It’s a great price at just 55p for 2 litres, and many bargain hunters are saying they can’t taste the difference compared to Orange Fanta Zero. At the moment, you can buy the latter in Tesco but it’ll set you back £2 for the same size bottle, so you may as well pocket £1.50 and go for the Aldi dupe!

Moser Roth Boozy Truffles, £4.99 vs Hotel Chocolat Tipsy Truffles, £14.50

If you’re making up the ultimate self-care Christmas present for a friend or family member, what could go better with a vanilla honey bath than some luxurious chocolates? Hotel Chocolat has a pack of 14 truffles, called the Tipsy Truffles H-Box, for £14.50, but you can save a tenner easily by going into Aldi and picking up their Moser Roth Boozy Truffles for £4.99 instead. The packaging is just as decadent, and you’ll still be able to hand over a lovely present for the festive season!

Naturals Nectar Eye Shadow Palette, £5.99 vs. Urban Decay Naked Palette, £34.50

Looking for some new eyeshadow shades for those Christmas parties? If you’ve been browsing in Boots you may have noticed the Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette - along with the fact it’ll set you back a whopping £46. However, you can get a similar palette for a fraction of the price by opting for Aldi’s Naturals Nectar Eye Shadow Palette for just £5.99. If you’re looking for some warm shades to make an impression during your next night out, take a look at this bargain-friendly dupe - you can’t go wrong!

Combination Skin Facial Cleanser, £2.99 vs. Foreo Luna Play, £55

If you’re looking to level up your skincare routine, bargain hunters have been loving the Combination Skin Facial Cleanser from Aldi which is just £2.99. It has 14 different intensity levels and works to both cleanse and massage. It’s a much better deal than its almost identical counterpart, the Foreo Luna Play. This product retails for anywhere between £21 and £89 depending on where you shop and the version you get, so why not save up to £86 and pick up the budget-savvy alternative from Aldi instead?
