B&M Shoppers Excited Over Egg Chair Scanning for £30
B&M are selling an egg chair which is priced at £165 but one savvy shopper has found that it's scanning for just £30 at the tills. Sam Walker at The Sun reported this shopper shared their find in a Facebook group.
"My B&M bargain! Egg chair for the garden for next summer reduced from £165 to £30." They captioned the picture. Fellow bargain hunters were stunned at this steal and flooded the post with thousands of likes and comments, with many claiming they hoped to find one too.
After checking out their online website, we found that B&M don't have this egg chair listed. So if you're one of the shoppers who'd like to get your hands on one, you'll have to visit your local branch to see if they have any available. Of course, it's also worth remembering that not all B&M stores will have the egg chair in stock so it's just luck of the draw.
The silver lining however, is that you can check whether the shelf price of a B&M product is accurate. B&M have a mobile app that includes an in-built scanner, allowing you to to see if a shelf price matches the app. Although not every product will be reduced, if the app does show a price drop, it should scan at the cheaper price at checkout. These discounts are also store-specific due to stock variations.
Tom Church, co-founder of money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk, commented: "It's certainly worth checking your local store to see if there's any stock available at this low price. Plus, using the scanner feature on the app might show an unexpected deal next time you're shopping."
