Emily in Paris Season 4 Inspires Surge in French Treats at Aldi

The return of Netflix's 'Emily in Paris' on August 15th has sparked a nationwide craze for French cuisine. Aldi reports a significant uptick in purchases of their French products, attributed to what is now being called the 'Emily Effect'. Camembert cheese, Bordeaux wine, and Sud de France rosé have all seen notable sales increases.
Aldi's Emporium French Camembert Cheese (£1.99, 250g) has seen sales surge by 34%. Fans of the hit show are also indulging in Pierre Jaurant Sud De France Rosé (£6.29, 75cl), with sales up 19%. Additionally, Pierre Jaurant Bordeaux (£4.99, 75cl) has experienced a 29% increase in demand, drawing attention after being compared to the luxurious Château Mouton Rothschild, a favourite of the Beckhams.
