Poundland Has Relaunched Their Website But There's A Catch
Hey Deal Hunters!
Big news for all of us who love a bargain. Poundland has rebooted its online platform, letting us snag our favourite deals without even stepping foot outside. Remember how it took over Poundshop.com last year? They've now fused both sites into a super online bargain hub!
Levi Winchester at The Mirror reported that Poundland.co.uk is showcasing a whopping 3,000 products, ready to be shipped straight to your door.
However, there's a catch - there's a minimum spend of £20. If you're planning your shop, keep in mind the delivery charges:
- £20 to £34.99, £5.95 delivery.
- £35 to £49.99, delivery drops to £2.95.
- Go big and spend over £50, delivery's just £1.
There's all the usual suspects available to shop online, including food and drink, beauty products, household cleaning, and more. There's even a fresh Halloween range for early planners.
All these online orders are shipped from a brand new hub in Darton, South Yorkshire and the good old Poundshop.com base in Wednesbury, West Midlands.
There's more good news on the job front. Around 120 new positions are popping up in Darton to boost this digital expansion. Also, keep an eye out on the high street as Poundland is sprouting or relocating 50 more stores this month. More places to hunt deals!
But remember the Wilko collapse news? Poundland's gearing up to take over up to 71 of those stores, and they're keeping the Wilko crew, giving them "priority" in job placements. And let's not forget about B&M – they're diving into the action by grabbing up to 51 stores in a juicy £13million deal.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, says: "Poundland's move to revitalize its online presence while also expanding on the high street showcases the brand's commitment to adapt and cater to its customer base. Exciting times for deal seekers everywhere!"
