- Holidaymakers can book at Premier Inn for just £8.75 each per night
- The latest sale is offering bargain prices across the UK between February and June
- Shoppers have rushed to pick up the deal, describing it as ‘brilliant’
- Consumer Expert Tom Church reveals how to save even more money on rooms
Going away with family and friends is always fun - except when you realise just how expensive holiday accommodation costs. However, deal hunters from money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk are rushing to buy a bargain hotel room which averages out to just £8.75 per person, per night.
Deal hunter emmabeckz shared a new sale released by Premier Inn which allows holidaymakers to book a stay in locations across the UK from just £35 a night. She revealed that the bargain prices are available between February and June 2023, making it ideal for weekend breaks and half-term holidays.
Brits can pick out a room using the search filter, allowing them to enter their desired location, dates and the number of people who will be going. Emma offered her top tips for getting a £35 room.
‘If you type in the area you want, then filter the results by price instead of distance, you will see the best deals first. If you can be flexible, picking a hotel that may be a little further than you were originally thinking, then you’re more likely to get a good price.
‘Hotels which are in the middle of a city will undoubtedly cost more than those which take a little extra time to travel to. For example, those which are located at motorway services just outside of a city will be cheaper than those next to a city centre high street.
‘Also, pay attention to the day of the week you’re booking. The £35 rooms are more readily available if you book between Sunday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday nights will always be more expensive, so try and avoid these if you can. You may prefer to make use of some paid leave from work for your break and grab a cheaper holiday as a result.
‘The best part about this deal is that the £35 rate works out at just £8.75 each per night if a family of 2 adults and 2 children is booking a hotel room. Plus, there will typically be a Brewer’s Fayre or Beefeater restaurant on site which provides cheap food. On average, you can get breakfast for £9.99 per adult, while up to 2 children eat for free per paying adult. It’s an unlimited breakfast, so great value for money!’
Deal hunters were pleased by the offer. Dominamckenzie9 said: ‘We often stay here when travelling, it’s a good hotel. Thank you for sharing this with us all.’ MISSMESSY added: ‘We have done overnight stays like this in the past and the children have loved it, so well worth the money.’ AJ13 chipped in: ‘Brilliant, I've been looking to find a few cheap nights in Bristol. Thanks for sharing.’
Muttley63 said: ‘These rooms are great for a getaway, I use for visiting cities or amusement parks.’ Martinlufc5637 was thinking similarly: ‘Stayed here a few times, always very good, I will have a good look, off to Scarborough in March so I’ll check if any offers for there.’
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, said: ‘I’m a big fan of Premier Inn - just wish they had a loyalty programme! It’s always worth checking out sales like these when they go live as there are always hidden treasures to be found.
‘If you want to save even more money, I noticed that Premier Inn has started offering ZIP rooms, with stays available in Cardiff. These are smaller rooms with smaller prices to match. I had a look for an overnight stay in mid-February in Cardiff and the cheapest price came out at just £25. Now that’s a great deal!’
