This Secret Shop Is An IKEA Rival - Selling Homeware From 40p
The Danish retailer, Søstrene Grene, often referred to as the "little Ikea", has just lit up the online space with the launch of their new website. The prices are sizzling hot, starting from just 40p!
Sophie King at The Sun reported that Søstrene Grene, a brainchild of Inger Grene and Knud Cresten Vaupell Olsen from 1973, has a rich history in serving customers with gorgeous Scandinavian-style homeware, kitchenware, furniture and more. Now, they’re taking it up a notch by going digital.
Just to give you a taste, you can find candles for 40p, chopping boards at £1.59, or how about a side table for £27.20?
But, remember Deal Hunters, watch out for those shipping costs. Luckily, if you're splashing out £60 or more, delivery is on the house. If you're eyeing up some larger furniture pieces, check those shipping rates based on order size and location.
Now, for those of you who love the in-store vibe, they have 12 locations across the UK, including Manchester, Sheffield, Wandsworth, Bracknell and more, and they're planning to pop up in even more places. Keep an eye out, Woking and Lemmington Spa, they're heading your way soon!
Tom Church, Co-Founder of shopping community LatestDeals.co.uk, weighed in: "The launch of Søstrene Grene online is an exciting move for bargain hunters. With more options to shop and save, it's going to be a game-changer for many." Happy hunting!
