My local launderette has double the price of 10 minutes drying from £1 to £2 for 12 minutes.
If you don't want to use plastic balls you can also get sheep's wool ones from a variety of stores. I have been using them for ages.
Just do not use a dryer, that will save a lot more money. There are alternatives to use for drying clothes ie heated rail etc. dryers.
kevanstewart that is false economy unless you have a dehumidifier, in which case you might as well have a tumble dryer
That sounds amazing I must give them a go. Even if they don't work I can use them as a ball or hand strengthener.
I have been using these 'things' for a very long time, years and years(I think they were originally only sold via QVC). The only problem is that they eventually go very brittle because of the intense heat from the TD. However, makes a good toy for the dog and once the prongs have worn down to a stubble you get good grip for throwing, so the dog gets plenty of exercise.
